However, after thinking about it for the past few days, I’m reminded that we are all sinners who have murdered at one time or another in our lives. Anytime we’ve hated someone, the bible says that makes us murderers. Indeed, in God’s eyes we’re all deserving of death and eternal separation from Him due to our gossiping, cheating, slander, adultery, fornication, lying, stealing, hatred, drunkenness, idolatry, etc. He sees us as far worse characters than Casey Anthony, because He is complete and perfect love. Even a lack of trust toward God is deemed evil by Him: just read Genesis and you can figure that out pretty quickly.

We human criminals deserve hell forever for our vileness. God is so completely holy, true, righteous, and loving that we don’t deserve to be around Him, much less go to heaven when we die. We’re all a bunch of Jeffrey Dahlmers, Casey Anthonys, Son of Sams, and Joe Perverts compared to God.

But God is also merciful. So merciful He saw our sins before He even created us and thus made a way of escape for us. He sent Jesus to the Earth to die for our sins, to take our punishment for us. If we receive this act and give our lives to the Christ, we then get off scott free. We are acquitted of our sins through the blood of Jesus, which washes away even the worst of sins.

You’re just like Casey Anthony to God. You’ve committed atrocious sins in His eyes. You’re no good in yourself. You’re rotten to the core. But if you turn from those sins and give your life to Jesus, you’ll be washed white as snow. You’ll become God’s child instead of His enemy. Oh, how good it is to be a friend of God.

Casey Anthony and you need Jesus. Without Him you’ll be found guilty of your sins, as there’s plenty of evidence stacked up against you. Do what she didn’t do: admit your guilt and give it all to Jesus. Then follow Him the rest of your life. Hell is a prison you don’t want to be sent to forever.

Yet it’s your choice. As for me and my house, we will serve and love the Lord.

These ministers live in lavish mansions funded by little old ladies living on social security, small businesses that barely make ends meet, and the like. It’s shameful what these preachers are doing.

The Lord will have His vengeance.

Once and awhile over the past few years, I’ve turned on Two and a Half Men, only to turn it right off again due to the profuse nasty jokes, sexual content, and immorality that’s on the show. I’ve wondered, “Why do we in American watch this smut and allow this in our country? Have we no shame?”

Well, it seems to me that God has had enough of the show, too. In my opinion, He’s allowed this whole fiasco to take place so that this show is off air. God does stuff like this, you know. He causes things on Earth to happen that glorify Him and bring us to our knees. In this case, having Two and a Half Men off the air surely glorifies our holy God, and hopefully it will bring Charlie to his knees. Mr. Sheen needs salvation through Jesus Christ: He doesn’t need a job, more fame, more money, or more goddesses. He needs God, and he needs Him now.

Today is the day of your salvation, Charlie Sheen. You might not have a tomorrow. I urge you to repent of your sins and give your life to the Friend above all friends, Jesus. Come hook up with Him, who won salvation for you through His death on the cross. His Lion of Judah blood can save your soul and set you free. He loves you, Charlie.

And remember, there’s no comedy in hell, only horrible, horrible torment. You don’t want to spend eternity screaming in pain, do you? That’s not winning. That’s suffering forever, and ever, and ever. Nothing is worth that, Chuck. Nothing.

Will we let Him burn through us? Will we let the Lion burn our sin away? Or will we remain stubborn, so stubborn that we are burned up and thrown out? Hell is a real place, and if you are an unrepentant pulpit thief, you are not going to heaven.

I can’t sit in judgment because we are all sinners. But it’s clear that Charisma and Benny are both money hungry and not walking in the Spirit of Christ. This is so shameful.

From Dallas Morning News: Daystar, the Bedford-based Christian television network, faces another lawsuit from a former employee, this one claiming sexual harassment.

Jennifer Falcon alleges that her supervisor, Bill Trammell – father of network co-founder Joni Lamb – inappropriately touched her, often spoke to her “about sexual things” and once told her he “wanted to be a husband to her until she found one.”

Falcon’s petition, filed in federal court, says she tried to get a transfer but couldn’t afford to quit, as a single mother.

“Daystar lawyers are in receipt of and have reviewed the petition and vigorously deny these outrageous allegations,” the network said in a prepared statement.

“Further, any and all employment claims by the plaintiff are barred by an enforceable termination release agreement, which she voluntarily signed and for which she gladly received benefit.”

Falcon’s suit says she was fired in February 2010 and signed a waiver of claims under duress, having heard from a Daystar executive that she would lose her benefits if she didn’t.

Daystar was founded by Marcus and Joni Lamb, a husband-and-wife team who built it into the second largest Christian network, broadcasting to more than 200 countries.

In November, the Lambs acknowledged on a live Daystar broadcast Marcus Lamb’s past adultery with a former employee. They said their marriage had been restored but alleged a $7.5 million extortion attempt by three other former employees represented by Dallas lawyer James Fisher.

The Lambs claimed Fisher said if the money wasn’t paid he would expose the adultery story to the media. Fisher said he merely went to Daystar lawyers, seeking a settlement.

Bedford police quickly dropped an investigation into the extortion claim.

Fisher filed a suit in state district court on behalf of Jeanette Hawkins, a former Daystar marketing executive who claimed she was fraudulently hired to work in a Christian environment by Marcus Lamb and the female executive with whom he was having the affair.

Daystar filed a countersuit against Hawkins, Falcon and another former employee, claiming they tried to extort the network.

Fisher represents Falcon in her federal court suit, which also says she was defamed by the extortion allegation.

Daystar’s statement called the defamation claim “equally preposterous” to her others.

From me: It’s time the network repented and came clean. It’s time for stubbornness to end and contrition to begin. This has got to stop. Joni and Marcus, it’s time to step down, put the network into other hands, and get back on the narrow road. Take a sabbatical so you can get right with God. Your network and staff are corrupted because you corrupt the Word of God. How? By letting con artists on the air, con artists who scam the flock out of their money. Enough.
